Originally founded by Allen Danos and Syriaque Curole in 1947, Danos has grown from a small crew boat company serving oil and gas transportation needs to a trusted strategic partner of some of today’s biggest names in energy. In July 2015, Danos unveiled a new building to be used for the company’s headquarters and operational purposes, including payroll, human resources and management as they continue to grow. The Houston-based architectural firm Gensler designed the building, which combines modern and naturalistic elements in harmony with the surrounding environment. AOS was recommended by Gensler to provide furniture for the executive suite, private and open offices, collaboration spaces, training area, and the great room. In keeping with the Danos commitment to its employees and family, the furniture supported a design that feels as residential as it does commercial. A luxurious combination of Knoll Dividends, Nucraft Merino and Restoration Hardware Contract was selected to achieve a warm, inviting contrast to the industrial features of the architecture.
