Louisiana Realtors Association (LRA) is a member-based trade association established to assist its members in the business of real estate in Louisiana. The Association was headquartered at 4639 Bennington Avenue in Baton Rouge for 37 years until a fire in 2013 destroyed the building. This was the catalyst for moving and expanding the LRA offices in to a stately residence built in 1921 by Sam Cangelosi on the edge of downtown Baton Rouge.
LRA hired Baton Rouge firm Coleman Partners to turn the house in to an inviting headquarters. The space needed to feature private and shared office areas, as well as space for continuing education classes, receptions and meetings. Great care was taken to retain and respect the original architectural character of the building, so when Coleman Partners asked AOS to source furniture, we knew it was important to find pieces that would fit seamlessly in to this unique space.
