AOS is thrilled to announce a June 1^st launch of hundreds of new product offerings from MillerKnoll, the preeminent leader in modern design.

In the Summer of 2021, the architecture and design industry had all eyes on two-storied seminal brands as Herman Miller finalized the $1.8 billion purchase of Knoll, Inc. The new company, known as MillerKnoll, is now one of the largest design companies in the world with a presence across more than 100 countries. This move provides customers with unrivaled choice and access to the world’s most diverse furniture portfolio, including iconic Herman Miller and Knoll brands, as well as its subsidiaries, such as Hay, Maharam, Muuto, Naught One, and Design Within Reach.

Independently, the U.S. brands were two of the most prominent names in modern design with histories dating back to 1938 in the case of Knoll and 1905 for Herman Miller.

Both companies were instrumental in introducing modern furniture to the U.S. market. Florence Knoll commissioned iconic designs from architects and designers, including the Tulip Collection and Womb Chair by Eero Saarinen, the Wassily Chair by Marcel Breuer, and the Barcelona Chair by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. She led the company following the death of her husband Hans Knoll in 1955 and turned it into one of the most important design brands of all time.

Some of the iconic designs made by Herman Miller include the Eames Lounge Chair, Eames Molded Plywood Chair, Eames Molded Plastic Chair, and the Aeron Chair by Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick.

June 1^st marks the launch of as AOS as an authorized MillerKnoll dealer. MillerKnoll signed AOS on as their combined distribution partner in Louisiana and Mississippi due to decades of experience as a design-assist contractor and a deep commitment to the region.
