We’re thrilled to share that AOS won three awards at the 2019 SMPS SeLA Communication Awards, including Website for thinkaos.com and Special Event and Community Service Achievement Award for YLC Wednesday at the Square! Caroline Hayes was also recognized for five years of membership with SMPS SeLA. We extend a huge thank you to the Young Leadership Council (YLC) team and Kelly Claverie, the graphic designer for YLC Wednesday at the Square, who are instrumental in organizing this annual concert series that supports YLC’s volunteer-led service projects.

Congratulations to our team members:

  • Caroline Hayes, VP of Marketing
  • Adrienne Tregre, Marketing Coordinator
  • Eve Arnold, Team Development Manager
  • Allie DeLee, Showroom Coordinator

We’d also like to thank the hard working chapter that put this event together, especially Alexis Miranne, SMPS SeLA Chapter President.

Website: THINKAOS.COM

When it came time to redesign the AOS website, the overall goal was to design an online experience that was beautiful, functional and informative while supporting our reputation in the marketplace, creating an online resource for clients and attracting and retaining top-level talent. Using a clean aesthetic and striking photography, we developed thinkaos.com entirely in-house with just two team members and within a 6-month timeframe. The results to the website have been fantastic, and it has become a go-to resource for clients and team members.

Special Event: AOS Title Sponsorship of YLC Wednesday at the Square

Through AOS’ Title Sponsorship, YLC Wednesday at the Square is a free 10-week spring concert music series held in Lafayette Square. All proceeds support the Young Leadership Council (YLC)’s mission to build young professional leadership through volunteer-lead community service projects. Through the sponsorship, we share our passion for supporting the New Orleans community, providing unique client experiences and raising our visibility across the Greater New Orleans area. The year-long planning process results in a comprehensive marketing strategy, including radio spots, email campaigns, social media, event signage and performance introductions. The response to the event has been so exceptional that AOS returned for the 2020 concert season, marking it our third year as the Title Sponsor.

Community Service Achievement: YLC Wednesday at the Square

Voted on by SMPS SeLA chapter members, the Community Service Achievement is awarded to a program that is a standout example of one firm’s or member’s commitment to its community and/or individuals in need. While AOS supports more than 20 organizations, contributing on average more than $250,000+ annually through in-kind gifts and monetary donations, the largest company sponsorship to-date has been as the title sponsor for YLC Wednesday at the Square (WATS) for the 2018 and 2019 concert series. Additionally during the 2019 season, AOS assisted in spreading overall community contributions through the promotion of GiveNOLA at Wednesday at the Square. This single-concert promotion advocated to the 5,000+ attendees to participate in GiveNOLA Day. In total, this donation campaign contributed to over $75,000 in direct donations to YLC from WATS attendees.

Thank you to everyone who rocked out with us every week to make this event a success. We can’t wait for the 2020 season!
