AOS Welcomes Three New Team Members

AOS is thrilled to welcome two new design-assist project managers/designers, Marigny DeBlanc and Julia Stefanski, to our Contract Furniture team and Heidi Meibaum to our Leadership team! In each of their roles, they will closely collaborate with interior designers, architects, contractors and other trades on a daily basis. Please join us in welcoming them to our team!

Marigny DeBlanc, Designer/Project Manager, Contract Furniture

Marigny recently graduated from LSU in May 2022 with Honors Summa Cum Laude and earned a bachelor of interior design and minor in fine arts. She was named to the President’s Honor Roll for her 4.0 GPA. During her collegiate years, Marigny was awarded four academic scholarships for interior design. She was also a member of the Interior Design Student Organization (IDSO) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA)’s LSU Campus Center.

For the past year, Marigny has interned with AOS, working on projects, such as Son of a Saint, Tulane University and Brennan’s. She looks forward to the interdisciplinary aspects of design and collaborating with other designers and across various fields.

Julia Stefanski, Designer/Project Manager, Contract Furniture

Julia earned a bachelor’s in environmental design from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is NCIDQ certified. She has over 17 years of experience in the commercial design industry and has collaborated with designers and clients across all markets with a focus in healthcare, government and education. After moving to New Orleans in 2008, Julia has worked in multiple facets of our local industry, including as an interior designer, account manager and sales representative.

Julia’s extensive experience with furniture dealerships, manufacturers and technical product knowledge makes her an outstanding candidate to join AOS’ growing team as the company continues to expand. She is excited to work with a robust team and enhanced capabilities to serve clients.

Heidi Meibaum, Leadership Team

With a bachelor of interior design from LSU, Heidi brings over 35 years of experience in the commercial design and contract furniture industry. She is a licensed interior designer and is NCIDQ certified. Prior to AOS, Heidi has worked as a sales representative and has partnered with designers on complex projects across all markets, including education, healthcare and government.

Heidi’s comprehensive knowledge of products, furniture dealerships and manufacturers makes her an outstanding candidate to join AOS as the company continues to grow. She is excited to work with AOS’ award winning team and bring a unique value and perspective to each of our clients. Her professional process is driven by collaboration and mentorship. Heidi is an active member of the design community and currently serves on the board of the Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Interior Design (LSBID) and on the board of the IIDA Delta Regional chapter as VP of Membership. She is also Past-President of the Louisiana Coalition for Interior Design and has been an active member for over 20 years.
