Lambeth House | AOS Interior Environments
As one of New Orleans’s first continuing care retirement communities, Lambeth House provides its residents with a warm and welcoming home, focusing on personal attention and care. Through innovative design, Waggonner and Ball Architects transformed a former Uptown Square Shopping Center into a unique mix of senior living units and retail shops. Set along the Mississippi River, the nursing and wellness center provides a well-considered residential model and increased services for an existing retirement community. Saint Anna’s, also known as the Wellness Center, offers skilled nursing and memory support services for seniors so it was important to create a comfortable residence for those who need full-time care. Resident rooms provide a private space for relief while nearby nurse stations and common areas give support and a place for quality time with family and friends. With over 21,000 square feet of amenity space, the Wellness Center at Lambeth House also includes a fitness center, group fitness room, indoor aquatics center, café, meditation room and garden, arts and crafts studio, and chapel. Overall, the facility takes a holistic approach and focuses on the wellness of the mind, body and spirit of seniors by providing state-of-the-art care.
