Lambeth House

As one of New Orleans’s first continuing care retirement communities, Lambeth House provides its residents with a warm and welcoming home, focusing on personal attention and care. Through innovative design, Waggonner and Ball Architects transformed a former Uptown Square Shopping Center into a unique mix of senior living units and retail shops. Set along the Mississippi River, the nursing and wellness center provides a well-considered residential model and increased services for an existing retirement community. With over 21,000 square feet of amenity space, the Wellness Center at Lambeth House includes a fitness center, group fitness room, indoor aquatics center, café, meditation room and garden, arts and crafts studio and chapel for quiet reflection and multi-denominational services. The facility takes a holistic approach and focuses on the wellness of the mind, body and spirit.
