Louisiana Dealer Services, also known as The LDS Group, is a leading provider of customer finance and insurance protection for car dealerships across the state. As part of their commitment to their responsive, customer-focused approach, LDS Group embarked on constructing a new building that not only reflects their brand ethos but also caters to the functional needs of their operations. Designed by Cress + Lopresto Architects, the building’s exterior draws inspiration from of car dealerships while incorporating modern construction for enhanced efficiency.
For the two-story building, AOS provided a comprehensive suite of solutions, including manufactured interior construction, contract furniture, and specialty storage, ensuring that every aspect of the project aligns with LDS Group’s vision and needs. Working closely with the architect and general contractor Arkel Constructors, AOS built nearly the entire interior with DIRTT solutions. Each floor has a series of private offices, open plan workstations, break rooms, custom millwork storage, wellness rooms and conference rooms. A key feature on the first floor though is a flexible training room that can be rearranged depending on the event and opens to an adjacent break room for easy access to catering. In addition, a mail room with custom millwork allows for package and delivery efficiency and is conveniently located next to a storage room with Spacesaver High Density Mobile Storage.
Additionally, one of the most notable features on the 2nd floor is the board room, which includes embedded technology and a hospitality area for food and drinks. The 2nd floor also has a large employee break room that opens to an outdoor covered patio. Using manufactured interior construction, LDS Group saved thousands of pounds of drywall waste from landfills, contributing to their sustainability efforts; plus, they have the ability to easily adapt their space in the future. Whether they’re upgrading technology or re-configuring offices, manufactured interior constructions allows their space to remain as functional as it is beautiful. As a result, their new offices is a dynamic, adaptable environment that mirrors LDS’s dedication to excellence and works as hard as their team does. As LDS continues to evolve, their building serves as a versatile and inspiring workspace that supports their team’s efforts.
