06 Nov THINKAOS.COM: Award Winning Design

One year ago, in conjunction with hiring a new Marketing Manager, we rebranded and redesigned our company website entirely in-house. Our previous website was a generic, flat corporate placeholder that did not make an accurate impression – nor a lasting one. We realized we needed a website that more accurately reflected our passion for our clients, our unique personality and our process.

The response to the redesign has been phenomenal earning us more than 10,000 new users to the site in the last 6 months, a bounce rate of less than 30%, and enthusiastic feedback from clients, vendors and team members. In addition to the short-term increase in users and productivity, the website has served as a catalyst for a thorough and ongoing redesign of our entire collection of marketing materials. It has inspired conversations with stakeholders about the future of the company and has incited a renewed sense of pride in the AOS brand.

So as you can imagine, when the Society of Marketing Professional Services, Southeast Louisiana (SMPS-SeLA) chapter invited area firms to submit their best marketing collateral to be recognized the 2015 SMPS SeLAbration Gala, we enthusiastically shared our work on thinkaos.com. The Communication Awards, judged by an independent panel of senior professionals in the industry, are presented to firms whose materials and campaigns most compellingly achieve their marketing goals. Specifically in the website category, judges assess; the visual impact of the graphic design, photography, and illustrations, the effectiveness of the copy and concept in communicating with the target audience, cohesiveness of copy and concept, and navigational effectiveness.

This was the first year that AOS has ever submitted a marketing piece to be judged and we could not be more honored or excited to announce that we won…twice! Our company website received the Communication Award for Website Design and the overall People’s Choice Award. This honor would not have been possible without the diligent work and input of our entire team. We would especially like to thank our photographer Grant Ingram of Grant Ingram Photography, whose stunning imagery perfectly captured our design vision.
